This soup is one of my favorites! I made this with chicken sausage and added jalapeño navy beans, black beans, diced tomatoes and orzo pasta and it came out more like chili. Great flavor.
Had no idea how this would taste, as it wasn’t a sample at the show. WOW, awesome. Didn’t think about the canned jalapeno beans, great idea. Added country ham and smoked jowl meat to it, and the family ate it all. Need to use 2 packets for our group next time, so we’ll have left overs.
